Nearby Explorer has been available for Android for a while and American Printing House for the Blind has just released a version for IOS, I think this is by far the best GPS app for blind people and in this pod cast I demonstrate how to use the program and its features.

This approximately 45-minute recording features the best of my railroad audio recordings from Summer 2014. Most trains in this recording are Metra (Chicago’s commuter railroad), however there is some Amtrak and freight action as well. All recordings were made using a Sony PCM-D50 digital recorder and two Shure PG81 microphones.
